Vintage Havard Villedieu Copper Pan Set of Five – 12 to 20cm

This set of 5 copper pans are born from Havard of Villedieu-les-Poêles – one of the only 19th century coppersmiths still in business today.

Each pan is hand finished with riveted brass handles and a tin lining with soft wear marks. They nest from 12cm to 20cm.

After the war, Villedieu’s copper industry boomed and these pans likely date from that time when French cookware was the envy of the world.

They have a lovely patina, minor surface marks and blemishes in the tin but are ready to use, perfect for slow cooked sauces or as a sculptural display. Owning them is like inheriting a piece of French culinary history, ready for cooking with intention and purpose.
