Each bottle stopper is handmade in the Mediterranean from sustainably sourced, fully traced olive wood and set into natural cork. Olive wood has one of the loveliest grains of any timber, swirling and full of character, so the colour and pattern of your pair will differ a little from the photographs. Small marks and variations are part of the handmade nature of each piece, never a flaw.
The wood is polished and finished with olive oil to bring out its grain. With a little care it will be treasured for years to come.

Caring for olive wood
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth, or wash briefly in warm soapy water and dry straight away.
- Please do not soak, scrub or put them in the dishwasher.
- Now and then, rub in a little olive or sunflower oil to keep the wood nourished.
- A little oil on the surface is normal. It is part of the natural finish.
